As you've probably noticed, a lot of visual changes have been happening around
d2rlld.com lately. We've been putting in work to make this place truly our own — and we're pretty happy with how it's shaping up so far.
Right now, I'm experimenting with some forum UI elements, starting with topic icons — specifically the
Sticky icon. The default thumbtack just doesn't fit our style. We're more of an
arrow kind of crowd, right? 😉
Below are a few
concept pieces I've been playing with. These are purely visual ideas for now:
Obviously these are much larger than what forum icons allow and won't scale cleanly to 16×16 —
this is just the concept phase. The goal right now is to lock in the idea before refining it into a proper UI-friendly icon.
