D2RLLD Standard Ruleset 
This is the default ruleset used for casual duels, and most events.
Event hosts may freely use, modify, or replace this template for their own tournaments.
General Rule: Only the character inside the duel may provide skills, auras, or buffs.✔ Allowed: • All natural character skills (no skill bans)
• All natural mobility (including Teleport charges)
• All melee skills (WW, Zeal, Jab, Charge, etc.)
• CB / DS / OW
• Cold damage ("cold check")
• CBF gear
• All valid lvl 30 gear
• Normal gear swapping
❌ Banned: •
No external buffs / no prebuffing from other characters • Enchant (any source)
• Holy Freeze aura (skill or item)
• Life Tap (skill, charges, or proc)
• Amplify Damage
• Lower Resist
• Cloak of Shadows
• Mercenaries / merc auras
• Shrine stacking or prebuffs
• Any buffs cast from a second client or mule
Notes: • Cold damage is allowed because CBF + resist counters it cleanly.
• Enchant is banned because it massively inflates damage and cannot be fairly countered at lvl 30.
• Holy Freeze is banned because CBF does not counter aura slow.
General Rule: Team synergy is allowed — all buffs must come from teammates inside the match.✔ Allowed: • Battle Orders (BO)
• Battle Command
• Oak Sage
• Party auras (Fanaticism, Conviction, Might, etc.)
• Team buffs EXCEPT Enchant
• Teleport (staff or charges)
• All class skills
• CB / DS / OW
• Cold check
❌ Not Allowed: • Enchant (same reason as 1v1 — unfair damage spike)
• Holy Freeze aura
• Life Tap
• Amplify Damage
• Lower Resist
• Cloak of Shadows
• Buffs from any character NOT inside the match
• Mercenaries
• Shrine prebuffs
Notes: • BO/Oak/Auras are part of TEAM composition — not considered "external prebuffing."
• The same banned list from 1v1 applies, except for team synergy buffs.
Customization for Event Hosts
Event hosts may freely modify this ruleset.
Hosts may create:
• Pure melee events
• No-tele events
• Open elemental duels
• Classic throwback rules
• Ironman events
• Or anything they wish
